Livyatan and cachalot

Livyatan and cachalot

Not all ancient animals were larger than modern ones. The cachalot is longer and heavier than its extinct relative Livyatan. It can grow up to 25 meters in length! Additionally, it is a highly intelligent and dangerous predator. The Livyatan was also not a «little one» with its 17 meters in length. Moreover, it had large teeth not only on the lower jaw, like the cachalot, but also on the upper jaw. In general, the Livyatan was a kind of tyrannosaurus of the seas and ate whatever it wanted.
