Ampelomeryx is a genus of extinct herbivorous even-toed ungulate mammals belonging to the family Palaeomerycidae Ampelomeryx was assigned to the Palaeomerycinae by Prothero and Liter (2007). It had frontal and occipital appendages. It was similar to Tauromeryx and Triceromeryx.

Работа, как всегда, снята с натуры! Ром, а эти палеомерицины - они кому ближе, жирафам или оленям?.. И не жирафята ли выжили их с арены жизни?

This Website is just amazing.
99% of species are extinct and this websites brings many of them close togethere. Today is the day of biological diversity (21th May).The Ampelomeryx is a good example of an very beatiful animal that litterly nobody knews and that is sad. I love biological diverstiy and I just will say ... Thanks. :)
